Customs, Duties & Taxes
At the time of purchase, you will be charged for the total amount of your order from Haniken Jewelers. When your shipment arrives at your country's customs office, there may be taxes, fees, and import duties charged in addition to your order total. These additional charges are the responsibility of the customer. Customs charges will vary per item and per country, and cannot be calculated prior to shipping your order. You can contact your local customs office for details on international import policies and fee structures.
Shipping & Delivery
Haniken Jewelers ships all international orders using fully insured FedEx International Priority® at a small charge of $85. You will receive a notification e-mail when your order is shipped. You will also be provided with the tracking number to track your order delivery. All estimated delivery dates and times quoted on our website apply to U.S. shipping addresses. To obtain delivery dates and times for international orders, please contact a Haniken Jewelers diamond and jewelry expert at 212-302-6605. International orders could potentially be delayed by customs procedures upon arrival at the destination country.
Shipping Insurance
Haniken Jewelers protects all international orders from loss or thefts during transit by providing shipping insurance through our trusted couriers. In the event of a return/exchange, a non-refundable 1.5% shipping insurance fee will be charged to you in addition to other fees listed under Returns & Exchanges.
Payment Methods
International orders must be paid via wire transfer or PayPal; in Canada and the UK, credit and debit cards are also accepted. Wire transfers take approximately 5-7 business days to complete. The total amount of your order in local currency is determined by the current exchange rate of the US dollar when your order is placed.
Products shipped with international orders may not meet the regulations and requirements of the destination country. As the importer of record of the product, the customer should verify that there are no restrictions against the shipment of the item(s) to their local address. The regulations of destination countries are subject to change to accommodate global economy fluctuations. Haniken Jewelers reserves the right to refuse to ship an international order at any time. If there are any problems or restrictions preventing the shipment of your order, our diamond and jewelry expert will contact you via email as quickly as possible. Due to the customs procedures and additional paperwork required to ship jewelry items from one country to another, we do not offer ring resizing services for international orders. To ensure that you order the correct ring size, please see our Ring Size Information page.
Some countries have restrictions in place that do not allow the shipment or receipt of polishing cloths.
Orders shipped internationally could potentially be opened and examined for security or customs purposes. Details about your order may also be shared with carriers and customs officials to clear your order for shipping. Gift orders that are shipped to an international destination will be marked with a "Gift" label. The customs form must include the price of the items in order to establish the value of the package for clearance.
International orders can be returned for a refund within 14 Days or exchange within 45 days of purchase, excluding the non-refundable 1.5% shipping insurance fee and other fees mentioned under Returns & Exchange page. When you return items from an international order, you act as the exporter and are bound by your country's shipping regulations. The customer is responsible for any shipping costs, including customs fees, taxes, postage, and duties, as well as the retrieval of customs fees and taxes collected by the carrier upon delivery of the package. If you have any questions about our international shipping policy, you can contact a Haniken Jewelers diamond and jewelry expert by calling 1-212-302-6605 or send us a message.
